Welcome to Explorers!
The Explorer section is open to anyone aged 14 – 18. Unlike the other sections, Explorers are not attached to Groups. Instead, there are several different Units that are run across the District.

You can find a list of all the Explorer Units in Barnet here. Currently there are no Units in Edgware, however a lot of our members have expressed interest in setting one up at our hut. If you would like to volunteer as an adult to help open an Edgware Unit, please email Josh here.
Young Leaders
At 2nd Edgware we take part in The Scouts Young Leaders’ Scheme. This allows 14 – 18 year olds to volunteer with one of our younger sections to develop their leadership skills, achieve awards including DofE and have fun! At the moment we are at full capacity for Young Leaders, however if interested you can join our waiting list here.

We are based at The Scout & Guide Centre, Rectory Lane, Edgware, London, HA8 7LG – you can open on Google Maps here. This is a four minute walk from Edgware Station. Occasionally we will meet at other local venues for specific activities.
