As of 2025, 2nd Edgware Beavers is currently closed due to not having enough adult volunteers to run the section. We would love to re-open our Colony, although our current priority is re-launching the Cubs section for 8 – 10.5 year olds:

Although we have a waiting list and plenty of resources, we need a couple more adults to be able to re-open 2nd Edgware Cubs in 2025.

We’re based a few minutes from Edgware Station. Normally our Cubs meet during term time on Wednesdays 7.00 – 8.30pm, but these times can be adjusted to suit new volunteers if required.

Working as part of the section team, you can choose where you fit in:

  • Help to plan and lead activities or games
  • Share and learn skills – from coding to cake decorating
  • Get involved with outdoor activities – booking water sports or assisting a local camp
  • Celebrate young people’s achievements big and small

If we are successful in recruiting a new Cubs team, and then Beavers team, we will update this page with our new meeting times. If you’d like to volunteer at Beavers but not Cubs, please still drop us a message and we can be in touch once we’re ready to focus on setting up this section.
