Donations
2nd Edgware Scouts is a charity, all the adults involved are volunteers, and as such we rely on membership fees and donations to support our group.
- Donations allow us to purchase equipment, items such as tents and stoves to allow our young people to go camping and learn in the outdoors.
- Donations are also used to support members with financial difficulties, so that no child misses out on Scouting in Edgware.
- Some contributions may also go the extra mile in allowing us to offer certain activities or trips which we can’t normally offer families, events which can offer young people skills and memories that will last a lifetime.

Fundraise for us
Occasionally members, parents and friends of Scouting – as well as local residents – choose to raise funds for their local Scout Group. Through activities such as a sponsored marathon or hosting a school or work bake sale, a Group can be chosen as a person’s charity of choice. If you decide you would like to raise funds for 2nd Edgware, we would greatly appreciate that! Get in touch with us to let us know what you’re doing and if there’s any support we could give you.
